In light of the yuletide season of giving to raise funds for its sectors, Ateneo Gabay's Caroling Team managed to rake in about P40,000 worth of in-kind cash donations from various Loyola Schools (LS) departments and offices last December 2-31, 2022.

To amount to this figure, the caroling team underwent a series of preparations for its on-site performances limited within the campus and virtual performance via Zoom in retention to the online setup for the past two years.

As early as September, preparations began as the core team already formed to immediately ideate plans for the hybrid setup. During this phase, the Paskong Pinoy theme was decided, and the songs Star ng Pasko, Pasko Na, Emmanuel, Bibingka, Love is the Answer, Carol of the Bells*, Himig ng Hangin*, Gabay Song* (for GAlumni contacts only) were selected. (NOTE: Songs indicated with asterisk were additional songs for virtual performances only.)

Around October, the entirety of the core team leveled-off and assembled for its administrative and performance committee affairs.

During November, the caroling performers commenced their weekly on-site practices and recording sessions. Likewise, invitations were already sent out to the contacts; and, the on-site DP shoot was held at the MVP 215 org room.

On the actual project implementation month, on-site performances were held December 2-17 across LS department and office Christmas parties and impromptu room-to-room caroling. Meanwhile, online performances via Zoom transpired last December 14-30.

One of the project heads, Therese Mamaradlo, said, "Knocking from office to office to serenade the different departments with Christmas carols and partaking in the Christmas celebrations all over the campus is truly a memorable and fun experience. Through this project, we were given the opportunity to explore the different parts of the campus, meet new people, and establish new connections."

"It was heartwarming to see our contacts enjoy our carols and celebrate the Christmas spirit with us. Besides the joy of performing and spreading the Christmas spirit, it was also a very fulfilling experience to know that by participating in this project, we are able to help in furthering the organization's advocacy and its service to its sectors," she added.

The Caroling Team is spearheaded by Project Heads Stephanie Cruz, Angela Lee, and Therese Mamaradlo, and Overseer and Finance Officer Neil Beltran.

Moreover, they worked in conjunction with the rest of the core team—they are External Relations Viktoria Galabo, Allyah Arada, and Macwen Argallon; Secretariat Athena Selano; Promotions Alliyah Delin and Raphaella Retuta; Logistics Ashley Benitez and Jaime Cabral; Voice Heads Frances Realda (Soprano/Overal), Romina Aguilar (Alto), Arjun Plomantes (Tenor), and Harvey Felipe (Bass); Instrumentalists Mariella Sario, Yuri Turiano, RJ Valiente, and Michaella Llamas; Audio Mixer Ymer Samson; and, Video Editors Elias Marcella and Yen De Los Santos.

Furthermore, the caroling sign-ups yielded 33 carolers, but the team remained composed of 28 members. They are Sopranos Frances Realda, Alexis Olarte, Angel Reyes, Angela Faye Asuncion, Ella Sarmiento, Elyza Joy Rallos, Karen Perez, Laura Tribdino, Lauren Sta.Maria, Diane Gono, Stephanie Cruz, and Therese Mamaradlo; Altos Romina Aguilar, Angela Lee, Aiden Bravo, Mariella Gerelingo, Michaella Llamas, Rafi Kalalo, and Rizzie Rapada; Tenors Arjun Plomantes, EJ Annang, Ken Roque, and Neil Beltran; and Basses Harvey Felipe, Angelo Dusdus, Daniel Dela Pena, Dane Rosario, and Nathaniel Bermoy.
